Corn vegetable oil is being prepared from corn germ. There are two methods of preparation: by squeezing through a press and extraction. During first method the germs are immersed in purified water and soaked, the resulting mass is treated with sulfur dioxide, then the cake is fried, passed through the press, and the already obtained oil is extracted.
